Property Description

Hidden beneath a canopy of towering trees in the enchanting village of Inverness, the historic cabins of Manka's Inverness Lodge offer a rare opportunity to own a piece of West Marin's celebrated hospitality heritage. A collection of intimate woodland accommodations, the property captures the spirit of a bygone era, when visitors escaped to the quiet beauty of Point Reyes and Tomales Bay in search of nature, exceptional hospitality, and a slower pace of life. Rich with architectural character, the cabins feature extraordinary stone fireplaces, handcrafted wood interiors, exposed beams, rustic detailing, and thoughtfully designed spaces that blur the distinction between indoors and out. The signature cabin offers a generous sleeping area anchored by a dramatic stone fireplace, built-in seating, a private deck nestled among lush greenery, and a beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub. The charming Fish Cottage offers a more intimate experience, with its own fireplace and outdoor shower. An additional grouping of four guest rooms features custom woodwork, four bathrooms, and individual fireplaces, including two substantial stone fireplaces. Throughout the property, stone pathways meander beneath mature trees, connecting the cabins and creating a sense of discovery and seclusion. Private outdoor spaces invite quiet mornings, afternoons immersed in nature, and evenings beside the fire. Once part of the legendary Manka's Inverness Lodge, the property became known for its distinctive hospitality, exceptional locally sourced cuisine, and unforgettable atmosphere. Today, the cabins retain the warmth, individuality, and craftsmanship that made Manka's such a beloved West Marin destination. An extraordinary opportunity to preserve a piece of Inverness history and imagine its next chapter.
